WE ARE

Our family has been "hobby beekeeping" in the Francis, Saskatchewan area for the past 20 years. The old gentleman who sold us our first hive told Gary "Once you get stung by a bee you will be addicted to beekeeping forever." That proved to be true for us. Over the years we have come to discover that the bee is a true marvel of nature.

In 2016 we partnered with our oldest son and decided to take the plunge and make beekeeping a full time business. We went from a four frame extractor in our little "Honey House" to a sixty frame extractor in our new CFIA licensed facility.

Our goal is to gradually expand the number of colonies for honey production and to learn about queen rearing with the hopes of being more self sufficient and perhaps progress to selling nucs and queens as part of our apiary business.

We have called our honey "Bee Happy Honey" from the beginning and are pleased to say it is now a registered name and hope it will also become a well known Saskatchewan household name!
